The JMS Performance Group includes JMS Fleet, JMS ev, JMS, Daytona Sensors and Daytona Twin Tec. The Daytona Sensors brand manufactures high-quality programmable ignition systems, ICE tuning and logging system. Daytona Twin Tec manufactures premium tuning and diagnostic products for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. JMS manufactures premium emissions legal performance products. We are a leader in electronic performance products!

Each brand operates in a unique space in the performance aftermarket. Suppling electronics to OEM and Tier 1 customers.

Chris Johnson

CEO (since 1993)

For over 30 years, Chris has focused on creating innovative products and brands in the light truck & automotive aftermarket space.

Between 1989 and 2003, Chris held several engineering positions with: Bell Labs, US Government, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya.

In 2003, Chris left Avaya to form Superchips Custom Tuning a Joint Venture that created software to calibrate vehicles. At the end of 2007, Chris partnered with a Private Equity group to form SCT. In 2013, Chris and SCT exchanged Private Equity partners and changed their name to Derive. Derive has 185 employees across three locations in the United States.

JMS was formed while Chris was working at Bell Labs in 1993. JMS provides niche electronic design, engineering, and manufacturing to Tier 1 vehicle suppliers and OEM’s. Past and current customers include: Ford, Roush, TI Automotive, TI Fluid Systems and Harley-Davidson.

Chuck McArthur

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Chuck McArthur has over 40 years of experience managing and guiding high growth firms.

Prior to JMS he was the CEO for several energy companies: Circular Energy, Andeler Corporation and United Fuel & Energy (publicly traded).

Mr. McArthur also has extensive experience in large tech sector organizations; he was the President and COO of ViewSonic Corporation (global provider of computer display products).

Throughout his career, Chuck has held senior management positions in several successful companies, including: Atari, Solectron, Memorex, Capetronic and Mag Innovision.
